Franco Ciambella grew up as a child with a passion for fashion and Italian craftsmanship tailoring, thanks to the family atelier, where he spied his mother and aunt at work, surrounded by fabrics, lace, embroidery and custom-made patterns.
Immediately after high school, he enrolled at the IED in Rome, where he graduated in Fashion Design in 1989, immediately beginning to collaborate with the great houses of high fashion in Rome, including Capucci, Sarli and Gattinoni.
In 1992, he then decided to open his own atelier in his hometown, Civitavecchia, to hand down and maintain all those values faithful to the poetics of the family atelier.
The mark is certified 100% Made in Italy and registered with the Institute for the Protection of Italian Manufacturers, as well as a quality mark of the Province of Rome.
He presented his haute couture collections seasonally in the AltaRoma calendar from 1994 to 2006, working in parallel as a style consultant at Italian prêt-à-porter companies.
In 2000, his line of party dresswhich also includes wedding dresses.
Since time immemorial, many women in show business have relied on him, commissioning bespoke gowns for red carpet and official occasions, including the singer Tosca, Barbara D'Urso, Milva, Katia Ricciarelli and the talented Elena Sofia Ricci, who has chosen Franco Ciambella as her official stylist for years.
In 2012, he launched the 'R.S.V.P. by Franco Ciambella' line, consisting of wedding dresses and party dress transformable in colour and length.
In July 2013 he presented the Monochrome Collectionwhere the white dress is enriched with another fundamental sign: colour.
